Anniversary Card

I just finished my first project. It is a pop out card for my son and daughter-in-laws anniversary. I took all the things that they have waited for and worked for and combined it into layers of the card. I am so proud of it and it turned out so nice. My first real project with my Cricut. Was going to post a picture of it and the batteries in camera are dead. The story of my life. I was so excited about getting a digital camera and the batteries always seem to be dead when I want to use it. I have them on charger so when I get the pictures I will post them.

Grandson home from Afghanistan

Just had a wonderful chat wit Grandson Michael on Facebook. He just got back in the states from Afghanistan yesterday. We are all so proud of him and so thankful he made it back home safe. His parents are going out to California to visit him next weekend. Know it has been very hard having him over there. Wont believe all is well til they can see him and touch him for themselves.

National Scrapbook Day

I am so excited about taking part in this with The Pink Scrapper, sure I will make mistakes but everything we do is a learning experience. For me I have to make the mistakes to learn to do it right.
Am watching Grandson Colten during the day but plan on being on with all the rest of the great scrappers as soon as I get home.
Opps gotta go, Coleman my cat, needs some lovin.

My First Blog

Well you are never too old to learn how to do something new if you want it bad enough. I hope I have got this blogging thing right. I want to be able to take part in the National Scrapbooking Day on The Pink Stamper tomorrow and need to be a blogger. Ha ha ha, love that title. Makes me feel like I am really on the cutting edge of technology. Hope I have it right and it works and for all you other first timers, hope it works for you too.
