Learners Permit

I got the inspiration for this card for my Granddaughter who just got here drivers permit for Jessica at Kinderstampo. Gave it my own twist and am quite proud of it and my grandaughter.

I wanted to be sure I gave Kathy Orta credit for the video I watched using the Cricut and George cartridge to cut out the flower shapes. It was Paper Phenomonon. Thank you Kathy, sorry I didnt give you credit for the idea sooner, took me a bit to find the video I watched for it.

Paper Roses

Here are the paper roses I made after watching the video tutorial by Heartstrings. Gave me an added appreciation for the effort it takes to make them. Dont know how she gets them so small. These are made using the flower cut on Cricut cartridge, George and cut at 2", you can get enough flowers to make 7 completed roses out of a 12x12 sheet of scrapbook paper. The paper I used was from DCWV.

Sunday, Such a Beautiful Day

Oh my is this not one of the nicest days we have had for awhile. It is about as good as it gets for this time of year. I have been busy today playing around with making the paper roses that I am sure everyone knows about and has been doing forever but they are new to me. When I get enough done to make a picture I will post them. I also dabbled with a chrystantmun that turned out pretty good. Think I could get hooked on these little creations.
